On March 22, 2019, the School of Life and Health of the Open University of China (OUC) was established. This School was inaugurated through a partnership between the OUC, the China Association of Research & Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CARDTCM), and Hao Mei Health Industry Co., Ltd.
On 17th October 2016, the Postal School of the Open University of China (hereinafter referred to as "OUC Postal School") was formally established at Shijiazhuang Posts and Telecommunications Technical College.
On 22 March 2019, the School of Modern Property Services and Real-Estate Management (the Property School) of the Open University of China (OUC) was inaugurated.
The School of Software of the Open University of China (OUC), jointly set up by the OUC and the China Software Industry Association, offers both degree and non-degree continuing education to software-industry employees. It is an important part of the OUC system at a variety of levels. The School was officially established in November 2013.
On 26 Nov. 2013, the School of Metal Castings of the Open University of China (OUC) was officially launched.
On 26 Nov. 2013, the Textile School of the Open University of China (OUC) was officially launched.
On 22 March 2019, the Tourism School of the OUC was signed and officially established. The school was built through a collaboration between the Open University of China (OUC) and National Public Service Platform. Its aim is to support the development of China's tourism talent education, promote the transformation and upgrading of China's tourism industry, and become a new platform for the open growth of tourism talents, a new hope for the development of practitioners, and a new driving force for the industry's development.
In order to adapt to the development of lifelong education and modern information technology, the Open University of China (OUC), the Classified Information Protection Centre of the Ministry of Public Security, and Beijing Huadian Zhuoyue International Technology Training inaugurated the School of Information Security at the OUC on 26 November 2013.
On 22 March 2019, the OUC School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering was inaugurated after a contract was signed between stakeholders, including the OUC and the China Education Association of Chemical Industries, aiming to deliver both academic and non-academic continuing education to employees in the petrochemicals industries.
The School of Social Work of the Open University of China (OUC) was officially inaugurated on 26 November 2013. The school was jointly established by the OUC and the China Association of Social Workers (CASW), with the latter taking specific responsibilities.
