Ding Huang holds a doctorate in Law (Political Science) and is winner of the “Excellent Talents in the New Century” support program of the Ministry of Education and head of the course Principles of Administration.

Positions

He is a distinguished "Luojia Scholars" professor at Wuhan University, a doctoral supervisor, a post-doctoral co-advisor of Administration, vice dean of the School of Politics and Public Administration, and Director of the Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) Education Centre. He also serves as a member of Chinese Public-administration Society and as an expert with the Advisory Committee of the Hubei Provincial People's Government.

Extraterritorial academic experience

He has been invited to undertake academic investigations and research at Oxford University and the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK; Harvard University and Arizona State University in the USA; Sun Yat-sen University and Chengchi University in Taiwan; City University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong; and the University of Macao, as well as other well-known institutions of higher learning.
